Other MCP apps

Connect any AI app that supports remote MCP servers, and the settings to use.

On this page

Any AI app that supports remote MCP servers can use Social9. Examples include Windsurf, Gemini CLI, Zed, LibreChat and n8n.

Where to find it#

Dashboard → Connected apps → Connect an app → Other MCP apps.

The settings#

SettingValue
Address (URL)https://app.social9.com/mcp
TransportStreamable HTTP. Some apps just call it HTTP
Sign-inOAuth. The app registers itself, so leave client ID and secret empty

If the app uses a JSON config file, this works for most:

json
{"mcpServers":{"social9":{"type":"http","url":"https://app.social9.com/mcp"}}}

Some apps call the field serverUrl or httpUrl instead of url.

When the app opens the sign-in page: sign in to Social9, pick the workspace and brands, choose what the app may do, and press Allow.

Apps that cannot connect yet#

Apps that only support local MCP servers (sometimes called stdio) cannot connect to Social9. Social9 is a remote server only.
