Get your first post out

Schedule your first Social9 post with Quick post on Home or the full Create editor, then check it went out in Calendar or Library, or retry if it failed.

On this page

There are two ways to write a post. Use the quick one to get started, and the full editor when you want images, AI or different text per network.

The quick way: Quick post on Home#

Where to find it: Dashboard → Home → Quick post. It shows once you have a connected account.

  1. Type your post in What do you want to share?
  2. Untick any account you do not want to post to. All your connected accounts start ticked.
  3. Press Schedule for best time. Social9 picks the next good time for those networks and shows it under the box.

Or press Save draft to finish it later.

If your text is too long for one of the networks, Quick post tells you. Press Open full editor to write a shorter version for that network.

The full way: the Create Post window#

Where to find it: the New post button at the top of any page, New in the left menu, or Create → Create post.

  1. Pick your channels. Click the round pictures at the top to tick the accounts.
  2. Write your post. Type it, or press AI Assistant at the top, describe it and let the AI write it.
  3. Add an image or video if you want one. Some networks need one, see below.
  4. Pick when. Press the clock button at the bottom and choose Custom time and date, then pick a date and time or one of the Good times. Or keep Next Available to use your queue.
  5. Press Schedule post (or Add to queue).

See Create a post for every step in detail.
