Add Social9 as a connector in Claude, then ask Claude to plan and write your posts.
Where to find it#
Dashboard → Connected apps → Connect an app → Claude (or Claude Code).
The page shows your address with a Copy button.
Claude on the web, desktop or mobile#
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds it under Organization settings → Connectors.
- Name it Social9, paste
https://app.social9.com/mcpand click Add, then Connect. - Sign in to Social9, pick the workspace and brands, and choose what Claude may do. Keep Practice mode on to try it safely. Press Allow.
- In a chat, turn on Social9 from the + → Connectors menu and try: "What should I post this week?"
Leave the OAuth client ID and secret fields empty. Claude registers itself.
Claude Code#
- Run this in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http social9 https://app.social9.com/mcp
- In Claude Code, run
/mcp, choose social9 and then Authenticate. - Sign in to Social9, pick the workspace and brands, and choose what it may do. Press Allow.
Things to try#
- "What should I post this week?"
- "Turn this link into posts for LinkedIn and Instagram: …"
- "How are we doing? Give me a weekly review."
- "Fill the empty days in my calendar next week as drafts."
What the AI writes is saved as drafts unless you ask it to schedule. Social9 tells the AI to check with you before it schedules or publishes anything. Practice mode is the real safety net: while it is on, nothing is published.
