# Connect Claude

> Add Social9 to Claude on the web, desktop or mobile, or to Claude Code in your terminal.

Add Social9 as a connector in Claude, then ask Claude to plan and write your posts.

---

## Where to find it

**Dashboard → Connected apps → Connect an app → Claude** (or **Claude Code**).

The page shows your address with a **Copy** button.

---

## Claude on the web, desktop or mobile

1. In Claude, open **Settings → Connectors** and choose **Add custom connector**. On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds it under **Organization settings → Connectors**.
2. Name it **Social9**, paste `https://app.social9.com/mcp` and click **Add**, then **Connect**.
3. Sign in to Social9, pick the workspace and brands, and choose what Claude may do. Keep **Practice mode** on to try it safely. Press **Allow**.
4. In a chat, turn on Social9 from the **+ → Connectors** menu and try: *"What should I post this week?"*

Leave the OAuth client ID and secret fields empty. Claude registers itself.

---

## Claude Code

1. Run this in your terminal:

```
claude mcp add --transport http social9 https://app.social9.com/mcp
```

2. In Claude Code, run `/mcp`, choose **social9** and then **Authenticate**.
3. Sign in to Social9, pick the workspace and brands, and choose what it may do. Press **Allow**.

---

## Things to try

- "What should I post this week?"
- "Turn this link into posts for LinkedIn and Instagram: …"
- "How are we doing? Give me a weekly review."
- "Fill the empty days in my calendar next week as drafts."

What the AI writes is saved as drafts unless you ask it to schedule. Social9 tells the AI to check with you before it schedules or publishes anything. Practice mode is the real safety net: while it is on, nothing is published.
