Mastodon
Connect any Mastodon server, what a Mastodon post can include, and its visibility, content warning and poll options.
Social9 works with any Mastodon server.
Where to find it#
Dashboard → Channels → Mastodon → Connect.
Mastodon is on every plan, including Free.
Connecting#
- Press Connect on the Mastodon card.
- Type Your Mastodon server. It is the part after the second @ in your address. If you are
you@mastodon.social, typemastodon.social. - Press Connect, then sign in on your server and allow Social9.
What a post can include#

Options#
Under Network options tab → Options for Mastodon:

| Visibility | Public, Quiet public (unlisted), Followers only or Mentioned people only |
| Content warning | Text shown before your post is expanded |
| Post as a thread | Splits long text into numbered posts |
| Mark media as sensitive | Blurs your images until someone clicks |
| Language | A 2-letter code, for example en |
| Add a poll | 2 to 4 choices, from 5 minutes to 7 days, with Allow multiple choices. A poll cannot have media |
| Focal point | Keeps the important part of the first photo visible when it is cropped |
