Fact checks and "Why this post"

What the "Check this" warnings mean, what Social9 checks in AI drafts, and how to read "Why this post".

On this page

AI can sound sure of things that are not true. Social9 checks every AI draft against what you told it, and shows you what to look at before it goes out.

Where you see them#

Under AI-written text in Create, on every post in Plan many, and on AI captions in Upload.

"Check this" warnings#

A yellow box lists anything in the draft that Social9 cannot find in your facts sheet or brand profile. For example:

Check this: $49 isn't in your facts sheet.

It checksExamples
Prices$49, €12.50, 20 dollars
Percentages20%, 15 percent
DatesOct 20, 20 October, 2026-10-20
Other numbersAnything above 12, like "500 customers". Small counts like "3 tips" are fine
Strong claimsWords like best, #1, cheapest, guaranteed, award-winning, free delivery, limited time, sold out

A warning does not stop you from posting. It asks you to look.

What to do:

  • If it is wrong, fix the text.
  • If it is true, add it to your facts sheet in Brand voice. The warning goes away, and the AI can use it next time.
