AI apps and MCP

Connect Social9 to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or other MCP apps to plan, write and schedule posts by chat. See what you need, the address to use and test mode.

On this page

You can connect Social9 to an AI app like Claude or ChatGPT. Then you plan, write and schedule posts by chatting: "What should I post this week?" or "Turn this link into posts for LinkedIn and Instagram."

This works through MCP (Model Context Protocol), a standard way for AI apps to use other tools. You do not need to know how it works. You paste one address into your AI app and sign in.

Where to find it#

Account menu → Connected apps → Connect an app. This opens Connect an AI app, with the steps for each app. The account menu is your name at the bottom of the menu on the left.

You can also press Ctrl + K and search for "Connect an AI app".

The address#

Every app uses the same address:

https://app.social9.com/mcp

Sign-in is OAuth: you sign in to Social9 in your browser, the same way as the dashboard. You never paste a password or a key into the AI app. If the app asks for a client ID or secret, leave them empty.

You stay in control#

  • An app only sees the brands you choose, and can only do what you allow.
  • New connections start in test mode: nothing is published or sent for approval.
  • AI writing through an app uses your normal AI credits.
  • You can change permissions, switch test mode off, see everything the app did, or disconnect it, any time.

See Permissions and test mode.
