# Other MCP apps

> Connect any AI app that supports remote MCP servers, and the settings to use.

Any AI app that supports **remote** MCP servers can use Social9. Examples include Windsurf, Gemini CLI, Zed, LibreChat and n8n.

---

## Where to find it

**Dashboard → Connected apps → Connect an app → Other MCP apps.**

---

## The settings

| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| **Address (URL)** | `https://app.social9.com/mcp` |
| **Transport** | Streamable HTTP. Some apps just call it HTTP |
| **Sign-in** | OAuth. The app registers itself, so leave client ID and secret empty |

If the app uses a JSON config file, this works for most:

```json
{"mcpServers":{"social9":{"type":"http","url":"https://app.social9.com/mcp"}}}
```

Some apps call the field `serverUrl` or `httpUrl` instead of `url`.

When the app opens the sign-in page: sign in to Social9, pick the workspace and brands, choose what the app may do, and press **Allow**.

---

## Apps that cannot connect yet

Apps that only support **local** MCP servers (sometimes called stdio) cannot connect to Social9. Social9 is a remote server only.
