Biggest Scam Company of my life. Want to offer remote work from a “registered” company but cannot even spell to save their life. Watch out! Contact person is also different from name on WhatsApp.

This business is a scam, they obtain your number illegally, contact you under different names and pretend to offer remote work. Hoping that this creates more awareness so that no one falls for this scam

I was contacted out of the blue. The profile name on WhatsApp is Kathryn Reagan, but when I asked her name is now Lethabo. I then searched the number on truecaller and the name came back as Nyakallo Morake. So whoever this person is, it's clearly a front for a scam.

Someone contacted me on Whatsapp from a South African number saying that they are HR looking for freelancers to create digital content. When I asked where they got my number from, they said Facebook and LinkdIn, which isn’t possible because my number isn’t listed on either platform. I caught them out when asking questions about their clients. I was also suspicious due to the fact that they a) used Whatsapp for a professional proposal and b) couldn’t tell me what clients they have on their roster. Please be careful.
