I've hired Daniel as a cinematographer on two projects now and couldn't be more happy with the results. He delivers an impressive image even without camera crew, fearlessly inserts himself into risky situations to capture great b-roll, makes call time, and keeps the day moving along on schedule. Daniel is an accomplished filmmaker, a consummate professional and above all, has the heart and soul of a storyteller. His passion for his work was communicated with me through his generous sharing of information, his attention to detail and his patience with all of my questions. I engaged Daniel Gamburg after telephone interviews with several other production companies. His response to my questions were clear, concise, provided without hesitation. His fees were very competitive.The assignment involved a failed medical device and the testing was witnessed by my client, an attorney, and attorneys from the medical device manufacturer the injured party, the hospital and an engineering technician. All of whom made demands upon Daniel during the testing.Daniel arrived early for the shoot to allow for a somewhat difficult shot involving large testing machines with supports making for difficult camera positioning. The estimated time for the shoot was four hours and we ending up testing for close to eight. Daniel was able to do all that we asked of him, from close-ups of the actual testing, to capturing the test results in real time on the recording apparatus.The results obtained exceed my expectations. Immediate results were provided to ensure that the desired detail was obtained and flash drives of the testing were made available following the testing. Copies were forwarded to all parties promptly.I highly recommend Daniel and plan to use his services for my next project.

​I've known Daniel since the early 90's when he produced a short wherein I played the lead. Later, we worked together very closely on too many video projects to recall. His artistic sensibilities are always vivid, thoughtful and well structured. He is both a gifted, sophisticated artist invariably producing festival-worthy work, is an exemplar of laser focus and a flawless work ethic; and finally, a disciplined craftsman who will not miss a critical detail.
