# Upload and schedule

> Turn a batch of photos and videos into posts in one go, with AI captions and good times filled in for you.

Already have the photos and videos? Drop them all in at once. Each file becomes its own post that you can caption, time and send.

## Where to find it

**Dashboard → Upload → Photos & videos.** Or **Create** and press **Upload** in the switch at the top.

You need a brand with at least one connected account first.

## The steps

1. **Add your files.** Drop them on the page, or press **Choose files**. Up to 50 files at a time.
2. **Wait for the uploads.** Each card shows its progress. Big videos upload in the background. You can **Pause** and **Resume**, and an upload picks up again if your connection drops.
3. **Write the captions.** Type one on each card. Or press **Write captions with AI** to fill in every empty caption in your brand voice.
4. **Pick the accounts** for each post under **Post to**.
5. **Pick a time** on each card, or leave it empty.
6. **Send them.** Choose one of the buttons below.

## The buttons

| Button | What happens |
|---|---|
| **Schedule all at best times** | Cards with a time keep it. Cards without one get a good time for their networks |
| **Send to approvals** | Every ready card goes to Approvals. Team plan and up |
| **Save as drafts** | Kept in Library → Drafts |
| **Clear saved** | Removes the cards that are done from the page |
| **Open calendar** | Shows where they landed |

Cards with a problem are marked in orange, for example a caption that is too long for a network, or a time that has already passed. Fix them and press the button again. The others are saved meanwhile.

## What it costs

Uploading is free. **Write captions with AI** uses 4 credits per caption. The button shows the total before you press it.

## File types and sizes

JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF images. MP4, MOV and WebM videos. The size limit depends on your plan. See [Images and video](https://social9.com/docs/posts/images-and-video).
