# No repeats and what's already scheduled

Source: https://social9.com/docs/planning/no-repeats-and-whats-scheduled

> Social9 checks every AI post against what your brand already posted and planned, and shows what's already on a day before you add more.

Social9 keeps your feed fresh: the AI never repeats what you already posted, and you always see what's on a day before you add more.

**Which plan:** All plans. It works automatically; there is nothing to switch on.

---

## Where to find it

It works everywhere the AI writes posts: **Create** (**Write with AI**), **Create → Plan many**, **Plan my week** in Autopilot, captions in **Upload**, and AI apps. You see what's already scheduled when you pick a day in **Create** and in the **Review** step of **Plan many**.

## How no repeats works

1. **Before writing**, the AI reads the brand's posts from the last 120 days (published, scheduled, waiting for approval or approved), their opening lines, and the posts already on the dates you're planning.
2. **While writing**, it mixes formats across a batch (tip, story, question, list, behind the scenes, customer proof, offer) and gives each post its own angle.
3. **After writing**, Social9 compares each new post with your earlier posts and with the rest of the batch. A post that is too close, or opens with the same line, is rewritten once, for free.
4. **If it is still close**, Social9 keeps it and tells you with a label such as **Similar to your post on Oct 3** or **Similar to another post in this plan**.

When you see that label, edit the post, press **Rewrite**, or keep it if the repeat is on purpose (a weekly offer, for example).

---

## How to see what's already scheduled

1. In **Create**, pick a day under **When to post**.
2. Social9 shows what's already on it, for example **You already have 2 posts on Tue, Oct 28**, with each post's time, networks and first line.
3. Press **Add another** to carry on, or **Pick a free time** to get the next free hour that day, at least 2 hours from your other posts on the same network.

In **Plan many**, each day in the **Review** step shows **Already scheduled** above the new posts, with an **Open** link for each.

---

## Good to know

- You only pay for the posts you asked for. The automatic rewrite is free.
- In **Full Autopilot**, a post that is still close to an earlier one is not scheduled on its own. It goes to **Approvals** with the reason, so a person checks it first.
- **Plan many** warns you about a **busy day** when a day would get more than 3 posts on one network, counting what's already there.
- AI apps can ask "what do I have on Friday?". They use `posts_on_day`, which lists up to 14 days and the next free hour. `generate_posts`, `plan_posts` and `plan_week` avoid repeats the same way. See [Tools reference](https://social9.com/docs/ai-apps/tools-reference).
