# Threads

## Where to find it

**Dashboard → Channels → Threads → Connect.**

Threads is on the Individual plan and up.

## Connecting

1. Press **Connect** on the Threads card.
2. Sign in to Threads and allow Social9 to post.

## What a post can include

| | Limit |
|---|---|
| **Text** | 500 characters |
| **Photos and videos** | Up to 20, mixed |
| **Needs media** | No |

## Options

Under **Network options tab → Options for Threads**:

| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Who can reply** | **Everyone**, **Accounts you follow**, or **Only people you mention** |
| **Post as a thread** | Splits long text into numbered posts of up to 500 characters |
| **Topic tag** | One topic, with no full stops or ampersands |
| **Link attachment** | A link card. Only when the post has no photo or video |
| **Quote a post (post ID)** | Quotes another Threads post |
