# Timezones

Source: https://social9.com/docs/brand/timezone

> Set the workspace timezone, give a brand its own timezone if it serves another region, and see which timezone your times are in.

Every time in Social9 (posting times, the calendar, Autopilot, Reposts) is in a timezone. A brand uses the workspace timezone unless you give it its own.

**Which plan:** All plans.

---

## Where to find it

| What | Where |
|---|---|
| **Workspace timezone** (the default for every brand) | **Account menu → Workspace → Default timezone** |
| **A brand's own timezone** | **Brand → Brand & voice → Edit profile → Timezone**, or **Edit profile** on **All brands** |

---

## How to give a brand its own timezone

Use this when a brand serves a different region from the rest of the workspace, for example a client in India while your agency is in London.

1. Pick the brand in the switcher at the top.
2. Open **Brand & voice** and press **Edit profile**.
3. Under **Timezone**, pick the brand's timezone. **Use workspace timezone** (the first choice) keeps the default.
4. Save the profile.

From then on, that brand's posting times, calendar, Autopilot (including quiet hours and the weekly run), Reposts and the time picker in Create use the brand's timezone.

---

## Which timezone am I looking at?

Pages show the timezone next to the times, in plain words, for example **Times in India (Kolkata)** on the Queue page and under **When to post** in Create, or under the title of the Calendar.

- With one brand picked, you see that brand's timezone.
- With **All brands** picked, you see the workspace timezone.

---

## Good to know

- Changing a timezone doesn't move posts that are already scheduled. They still go out at the same moment.
- Posting times stay at the same local hour when the clocks change.
- If the workspace timezone is still UTC, a banner at the top asks you to set yours.
- Connected AI assistants see the brand's timezone too (`whoami` and the queue tools).
