> Add Social9 as an MCP server in Cursor or in VS Code with Copilot Chat.

Both editors can use Social9 from their AI chat. Add the server once, then sign in.

---

## Where to find it

**Dashboard → Connected apps → Connect an app → Cursor** or **VS Code.** The page has the config ready to copy.

---

## Cursor

1. Open **Cursor Settings → MCP → Add new MCP server**. Or add this to `~/.cursor/mcp.json`:

```json
{"mcpServers":{"social9":{"url":"https://app.social9.com/mcp"}}}
```

2. Cursor shows **Needs login** next to Social9. Click it.
3. Sign in to Social9, pick the workspace and brands, and choose what Cursor may do. Keep **Practice mode** on to try it safely. Press **Allow**.

---

## VS Code

1. Run **MCP: Add Server…** from the Command Palette, choose **HTTP** and paste `https://app.social9.com/mcp`. Or add this to `.vscode/mcp.json`:

```json
{"servers":{"social9":{"type":"http","url":"https://app.social9.com/mcp"}}}
```

2. Start the server and allow the sign-in when VS Code asks.
3. Sign in to Social9, pick the workspace and brands, and choose what VS Code may do. Press **Allow**.
4. Use it from Copilot Chat in **Agent** mode.
