# Connect ChatGPT

> Add Social9 to ChatGPT as a connector using developer mode.

ChatGPT adds custom connectors through **developer mode**. Turn it on once, then add Social9.

## Where to find it

**Dashboard → Connected apps → Connect an app → ChatGPT.**

## The steps

1. In ChatGPT, open **Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings** and turn on **Developer mode**. On ChatGPT Business and Enterprise, an admin may need to allow it.
2. Back in **Apps & Connectors**, choose **Create**. Name it **Social9**, paste `https://app.social9.com/mcp` and pick **OAuth** for authentication.
3. Sign in to Social9, pick the workspace and brands, and choose what ChatGPT may do. Keep **Practice mode** on to try it safely. Press **Allow**.
4. In a new chat, add Social9 from the **+** menu and try: *"Turn this link into posts for LinkedIn and Instagram."*

> **Note:** ChatGPT's menus change from time to time. If a name above does not match, look for developer mode and custom connectors in ChatGPT's settings.
