Invite your team and decide who can write, who can approve, and who can only look.

## Where to find it

**Dashboard → Members & roles.**

The top of the page shows how many seats you are using, for example "Using 2 of 5 seats".

## Inviting someone

1. Under **Invite a teammate**, type their **Email**.
2. Pick a **Role**.
3. Pick **Brand access**: **All brands**, or **Only** one brand.
4. Press **Send invite**.

They get an email. They sign in or create an account with the address the invite was sent to, and join the workspace.

If email is not set up for your workspace, Social9 copies an invite link for you to send yourself.

You can **Resend** or **Revoke invite** while it is waiting.

## The roles

| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| **Owner** | Everything, including billing |
| **Admin** | Everything except billing |
| **Editor** | Writes, schedules and publishes posts. Uses AI. Can connect AI apps |
| **Approver** | Reviews and approves posts |
| **Viewer** | Can look, cannot change anything |

## Changing or removing someone

Change their role with the dropdown next to their name. Press **Remove** to take them out of the workspace.

Removing someone also cuts off any AI apps they connected.

When you are out of seats, inviting someone asks you to upgrade.

## Custom roles

You can also create your own roles, with the exact permissions you want. Press **Switch on custom roles** at the bottom of the page. Everyone keeps the access they have now.

Then press **New role**, name it, and tick **What can people with this role do?**
